The following archive contains two ZIP files from Eddie Ruminski, a previous employee of Cyberworld International Corporation who graciously provided these files for release here on archive.org.
The first of these files, LAVA PACKAGE.zip, contains all of the game files for the Pokémon 2000 Adventure Game developed by Cyberworld utilising their 3D QBORG technology, as well as design documentation for the game. This game was developed in collaboration with Warner Bros who contracted Cyberworld to develop a game to promote the release of Pokémon: The Movie 2000. Surprisingly the game was taken down not long after its release following a request from Nintendo. For more information about the story of this game and Cyberworld please watch this video by Dr Lava on DidYouKnowGaming: https://youtu.be/7Fk6yDKhFR8 and read the Lost Media Wiki article about Cyberworld's QBORG games: https://lostmediawiki.com/Cyberworld_QBORGs_(partially_found_3D_content;_1999-2015)
The second zip, CYBERWORLD.zip contains the Cyberworld demo CD contents which includes numerous other Cyberworld QBORG games (including The Skulls: Initiation, Cyberworld Olympiad and Hillsgate Manor) as well as internal development tools and installers for the browsers that the QBORG games ran on, including the Pokémon 2000 Adventure Game browser. Serial numbers for the software ACDSee included in this zip have been redacted to avoid any issues with this.
Finally, I have also included game files that have been modified slightly and can be used to run the Pokémon 2000 Adventure Game (p2kresurrected + fixed.zip). The fixes done to these files would not have been possible without the help of DoomTay who is experienced in dealing with Cyberworld QBORG technology (https://github.com/DoomTay/jsborg) so big shoutout! For information on how to play the game on modern version of Windows please read the below tutorial:
There are two ways to play the game as of right now, with one way being easier for general users but not guaranteed to work 100% correctly, while the other should work completely correctly but will take longer to install. If you want a proper experience of the game I recommend the slightly harder install method, which is self-hosting but I have also provided the files on my website rufus10.com which is the 'easier' method as this removes some steps in order to play the game. Here are the tutorials for each method:
Self-hosting tutorial: (Recommended!)
Step 1: Install the Browser using P2K4AD9.exe (or P2K6AD9.exe if you don't have IE installed, this is unlikely though as it is still in modern Windows) from CYBERWORLD.zip\CYBERWORLD\Backup CD #2\apps\Pokémon\
Step 2: Download and Install Clean Flash Player 34: http://web.archive.org/web/20230000000000*/https://bluepload.unstable.life/cleanflash3400282installer1.exe
Step 3: Download and install MAMP here (free version): https://www.mamp.info/en/downloads/
Step 4: Download the 'p2kresurrected + fixed.zip' from archive.org and extract it into C:/MAMP/htdocs
Step 5: Open MAMP and the servers should boot (apache one is the important one)
Step 6: Open the Pokémon 2000 Browser as Administrator and type localhost/game/borgs/intro.borg in the navigation bar and the game should begin.
Using rufus10.com:
Step 1: Install the Browser using P2K4AD9.exe (or P2K6AD9.exe if you don't have IE installed, this is unlikely though as it is still in modern Windows) from CYBERWORLD.zip\CYBERWORLD\Backup CD #2\apps\Pokémon\

Step 3: Open the Pokémon 2000 Browser as Administrator and type rufus10.com/p2k/game/borgs/intro.borg in the navigation bar and the game should begin.
If you experience issues beginning the game after entering your details i.e. it doesn't automatically load 'the_islands.borg' sometimes for some reason, after pressing login simply enter 'rufus10.com/p2k/game/borgs/the_islands.borg' in the address bar which takes you to the islands manually.

Love that this came about ..but,
Does this not work on Win 7 32bit?
For the life of me I cant get the game to run properly. Followed install methods to ... the nail, even the latest post with disabling Edge. Odd .Keep getting script errors as well.. Can anyone shine a light on what I might be missing? Frustrated Trainer lol :)

My son loved it. What a blast from the past!
To get it to work, I:
1. Installed Windows 10 22H2 via ISO in a virtual machine (I used Hyper-V) and installed ... game following the steps above
2. In IE, Browser Settings -> Advanced -> Disable third party extensions (to disable Edge)
3. Right click on Pokemon 2000 browser, on the Compatibility tab set to Run as Windows XP (Service Pack 3) and Run as Administrator
4. Run game. You need both the left and right viewing areas in the Pokemon browser to load to play the game correctly.
The Pokeballs don't work, but everything else in game seems to work fine.
